Rapunzel OXYGUARD® linseed and evening primrose oil is an excellent source of essential, polyunsaturated fatty acids which are vital for the human body. This mix contains valuable omega-3 fatty acids. Polyunsaturated fatty acids help to keep the cholesterol level in balance. Ideal for a well-balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Produced with care in the Rapunzel oil mill.

Preparation
Linseed oil is carefully pressed using the OXYGUARD® procedure. Throughout the entire process from the opening of the seeds, the oil extraction all the way to the filling process the oil is protected from light, air and heat. The mixing and filling with pomegranate oil also takes place under the exclusion of air and heat. The careful handling protects the essential fatty acids in the oil which are vital for the human body and which can only be obtained through the intake of food.

FAQ about OXYGUARD® Linseed oil with evening primrose oil virgin

Due to growing conditions in the harvest year, there may be variations in taste and colour. A bitterness typical of the product may occur, which may increase somewhat during storage. A special peptide called cyclolinopeptide E, which is completely harmless to health, is responsible for the formation of the bitter taste.

Our linseed oil is gently pressed using the OXYGUARD® process in the absence of light, oxygen and heat. It is then filtered only once. In this way, a large number of important fatty substances are retained. Depending on the temperature, these appear as white streaks or white film in the bottle. They are of high health value and do not mean a reduction in quality.

Rapunzel coconut and frying oil are all wonderfully suitable for frying, baking and deep-frying. These frying and deep-frying fats have the decisive advantage in the hot kitchen of remaining stable even at high temperatures and not developing any substances that are harmful to health. They are tasteless and have a long shelf life. Rapunzel frying oil is pressed from 100% high oleic sunflower seeds from controlled organic cultivation, without external heat input. It contains a high content of oleic acid, which makes it particularly suitable for baking, frying and deep-frying at high temperatures.

Streaks in the oil or on the bottom of the bottle are natural components of the seeds, so-called secondary plant substances and seed components. This is not a detriment to quality.

Pressing takes place without the addition of heat and at low pressure, resulting in temperatures tested below 40°C for linseed and hemp oil. As a result, the yield is lower, but the quality is significantly higher. Yields are between 20-35 % for hemp and 25-40 % for linseed.
