Demeter and Rapunzel - cooperation for highest demands

Rapunzel  is Demeter partner since May 2004. 

Our products that are made with raw materials from biodynamic cultivation require many years of very intense preliminary work. For that reason we are very proud of the select product range that we produce together with our partners from various agricultural projects.

In Germany, about 1,787 farmers cultivate a total area of 114,018 hectares according to biodynamic principles. The newly founded Demeter Association includes about 345 Demeter producers and food manufacturers as well as contract partners from the natural whole food industry.

Demeter – the biodynamic brand. 

Demeter stands for biodynamic products. Biodynamic cultivation is the most sustainable form of agriculture as it focuses on the continuous development of soil fertility. This effect was confirmed by independent studies that investigated the differences between conventional organic cultivation and biodynamic cultivation over a period of more than 20 years. 

The Demeter Association established the highest quality requirements for the production, the food processing and the manufacturing as well as the distribution of the products. In biodynamic agriculture, soil fertility is improved sustainably using home-produced preparations made from manure, medicinal herbs and minerals which act as soil-enriching agents and unfold the characteristc aroma of the different foodstuff.
