FAQ
FAQ about Dry yeast
How long can you store dry yeast open?
Once opened, dry yeast will keep in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks, if the bag is well sealed (e.g., with a paper clip).
mehr erfahren
Is the dry yeast gluten-free?
According to available analyses, the yeast no longer contains gluten. Rapunzel yeast is grown on cereals, i.e., it feeds on cereals and converts the cereal starch and proteins, including gluten, into the yeast's own components. In any case, the manufacturer guarantees possible traces below 200 mg/kg. In case of extreme gluten allergy, we do not recommend eating the yeast.
mehr erfahren
How is the dosage of dry yeast compared to fresh yeast?
One sachet of Rapunzel dry yeast is equivalent to half a cube of fresh yeast. A whole cube of fresh yeast has 42 g. One sachet of dry yeast is suitable for baked goods with 500 g flour.
