The Rapunzel One World Festival 2024

A brief look back at the company’s 50th anniversary

It was a celebration of joy and encounters. The Rapunzel One World Festival 2024 was a major success. In its anniversary year, Rapunzel has put together everything you need for a successful festival: inspiring talks, exciting live podcasts, the opportunity to get to know our suppliers from all over the world and, of course, lots of delicious organic treats.
30,000 visitors who spent their weekend at the Rapunzel site in Legau were delighted. These were also special, exciting and wonderful days for the many Rapunzel employees.

Suppliers, speakers, dealers, employees, exhibitors, musicians and, last but not least, our visitors made this weekend something very special: a celebration of encounters, sustainability and joy.

Lots of colourful pictures

Take a tour of our festival. Whether in the video or in our picture gallery – here you can see the highlights of the anniversary weekend once again. You might recognise yourself in one of the pictures.

The world visits Legau

Here, festival guests could learn a lot about raw materials and fair trade programmes. Some 100 suppliers from all over the world not only enriched the One World Festival with their goods, they were also able to present their employees, their philosophies and their countries.

Caution open fire!

Like Rapunzel itself, the One World Festival also stands for culinary delights: in live cookery shows, the many visitors were able to watch top chefs demonstrate how health-conscious and forward-looking cuisine works. And with these recipes, it also works at home.

Woven from responsibility: Rapunzel’s plait gets longer

The talks with company founder Joseph Wilhelm and his children, who took over the management of Rapunzel this year alongside the experienced management spokeswoman Margit Epple, were of particular interest. Conversations about the past and the future and the here and now. Get to know the new management.

No free rein for genetic engineering

The large booth with the motto was also very popular: “No free rein for genetic engineering”. Here, interested parties were able to obtain information and take part in a postcard campaign against the EU’s plans to market genetically modified plants without risk assessment and labelling.

Something organic – The live podcast

From cow dung to tofu, from waste separation to avocado. The topics of the live podcasts were as varied as the many listeners. Plain organic talk with Franziska Heinrich. You can listen to the Rapunzel live podcasts here.
