Pasta from Italy and Rapunzel have been part of Rapunzel almost from the beginning. The paths between Gino Girolomoni and Rapunzel founder Joseph Wilhelm crossed as early as 1981. Both organic pioneers - one in Italy, the other in Germany. Pastificio Gino Girolomoni was founded in 1977 in the idyllic Isola del Piano. From there, the cooperative operated exclusively organically - something that has remained the same to this day. Since Gino Girolomoni passed away in 2012, his two sons Giovanni and Samuele have continued to run the cooperative in his spirit.
