Tomato sauce Bolognese, vegan, with soy

The vegan alternative to classic Bolognese sauce! Hearty and savory with a fruity note. Small pieces of soy give the sauce the typical Bolognese character! Aromatic herbs and spices round off the flavor. The tomatoes used for this tomato sauce are cultivated 100% in Italy. Rapunzel supports the breeding and preservation of seed-fast organic seeds, e.g. the tomato variety 'Mauro Rosso'.

Preparation
Soy protein is cooked in water, cooled and rinsed in order to remove soy flour remnants. Onions and carrots are briefly sautéed in sunflower oil, seasoned with sea salt and combined with the soy protein. Next, tomato paste is added to the refrigerated mixture and the finished sauce is filled into jars. Finally, the product is pasteurized, refrigerated and packaged.
