Sugar cane molasses

Sugar cane molasses is also called 'black wonder' due to its valuable components. The molasses has a strong, aromatic flavor that tastes slightly bitter with a hint of licorice. Molasses is a high quality by-product of the sugar production. It is unrefined and is processed without additives. The filling process may cause foam to form on the surface. Due to the natural properties, sugar crystals can form. However, this does not result in a reduction in quality.

Usage
Excellent with hardy meals such as ginger bread, whole grain pastries or hearty sauces and marinades. Especially yummy in muesli, yoghurt or curd cheese, dissolved in hot milk or refined with apple sauce and cinnamon.

Preparation
Sugar cane molasses is a by-product from sugar production. The dark-colored molasses is left over when the sugar crystals have been recovered through centrifugation. The molasses is filled into jars and packed.
