Soy chunks fine

Vegetarian meat substitute - use in various ways. The high protein content makes soy strips an indispensable food for the vegetarian and vegan kitchen. They absorb the taste of spices very well. When cooked, the soy strips yield three times their uncooked amount.

Usage
Vegetarian meat substitute - ideal for Bolognese, lasagna, Chili sin carne, paddies and spicy ragouts.

Preparation Instructions
Cook 100 g of soy strips in 300 ml vegetable broth. Let sit for 10 minutes and pour off broth. When cooked yields three times the amount.

Preparation
Soy chunks are made from dried soybeans. The soybeans are pressed and the press cake is broken up with steam and pressure. In order to obtain the desired size, the finished product is sieved, sorted and packed.

FAQ about Soy chunks fine

All Rapunzel pasta still contains parts of the bran. This is quite natural for wholemeal pasta, but semola pasta is also made from so-called ground durum wheat semolina (types between 812 and 1050). These bran particles, which consist to a considerable extent of dietary fibre, darken more than the rest of the ingredients when the pasta dries and become visible as small, dark dots in the pasta. For you as a customer, this is an indication that even in semola quality there is still a proportion of bran that represents neither contamination nor mould.
