Red Camargue rice I.G.P. wholemeal

Noble rice speciality with deep garnet red colour. This rice has a protected geographical indication (PGI) and is only cultivated in the Camargue, in the south of France. There it grows on clay soils which give this rice its typical red color and aroma. Deliciously aromatic, slightly nutty taste and firm to the bite - the perfect side dish and eye-catcher on your plate.

Usage
Perfect side dish or as an eye-catcher on your plate, also ideal for rice salads and gratins.

Preparation Instructions
Add 250g rice into 500-625 ml boiling water. Let simmer at low heat with closed lid for about 40-45 minutes. Remove from stove and let rest for another 5 minutes. Salt rice after cooking.
