Figs in basket, project

Particularly sweet, aromatic figs from certified organic cultivation. The sun-spoilt fruits are cultivated on the steep slopes in the Turkish Aydin region and are produced in the Rapunzel Turkey project. The entire fruits are squarely pressed, shaped into small cart wheels (Lerida type) and manually placed into round baskets.

Preparation
The manually harvested figs are dried in the sun. Subsequently, the figs are shock frozen in order to eliminate insects and washed in a sea salt solution giving them a juicy, glossy surface.
