It gets its typical, slightly golden colour from the low molasses content it still contains. Preparation
Mature sugar canes are harvested, cleaned and cut to uniform sizes. The sugar juice is extracted in the sugar mill. In the next steps, the sugar juice is filtered and condensed. For the crystallization, the sugar juice is inoculated with sugar crystals. The newly developed crystals are separated from the molasses through centrifugation and packed as Cristallino cane sugar.
