This extra hot & spicy, vegan seasoning paste made from frish italian hot peppers and best olive oil extra virgin gives a spicy kick to all kinds of dishes. This speciality is lovingly made in a family business in Italy.

Usage
Use this crema cold to season or warm in dishes or sauces. Well-suited for the Indian and Asian kitchen. Please dose sparingly and keep out of reach of children.

Preparation
The hot peppers are cleaned, rinsed and carefully cooked. Next, they are combined with the remaining ingredients, crushed and filled into jars. 5-10 ml of olive oil is added into each jar. For preservation, the jars are gently heated.

Why do European almonds sometimes taste bitter?

Almonds from Europe are very aromatic and usually contain a proportion of bitter kernels. This cannot be ruled out 100 per cent, as both bitter and sweet almonds grow on the same tree and cannot be visually distinguished from each other. At Rapunzel, we only accept a proportion of one percent bitter almonds in our quality assurance, which is absolutely harmless to health. For this purpose, the raw goods are tested for bitter seed content and prussic acid at goods receipt. Only if all parameters are in order, are the almonds released for sale or further processing. If you want 100 per cent sweet kernels, please choose Californian almonds. They are guaranteed bitter-free.
