Method
Sift flour into a bowl. Add other ingredients for the dough. Mix at first with the hand mixer using the kneading hook and finish kneading by hand until dough is smooth.
Let dough rest in refrigerator for at least one hour.
Preheat oven to 200 °C (fan oven: 180 °C). Dust work surface with flour and roll out dough to a thickness of about 2 mm. Use tree-shaped cookie cutters for cutting out the cookies. Put cookies onto a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Bake cookies for about 8 minutes until light brown and let cool.
With a fork mix honey marzipan, grated orange peel and orange juice into a viscous but spreadable paste.
Cover tree cookies with orange marzipan and put a second cookie on top. Prepare icing by mixing orange juice and powdered sugar. Cover cookies with icing.

- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp. orange juice
