The top-quality hemp flour with its slightly nutty taste is rich in herbal proteins and dietary fibers and is source of Omega-3 fatty acids. It also supplies the body with important minerals such as magnesium, iron and zinc. Hemp seeds are pressed in the Rapunzel Oil Mill to extract the precious hemp oil. The solid part which is left from the pressing also called press cake is made of partially de-oiled hemp seeds and is as valuable as the oil itself. This press cake is ground into fine flour. The grinding enables the seeds substances to be very quickly available for the body. The flour contains little fat and is made from edible hemp which has no intoxicating effect.
