Date sweetener HAND IN HAND

This natural sweetener is made from 100% dried ground dates! It is a great alternative to regular sugar and Thanks to its subtle flavor with caramel notes, it can be used in pastries, in savory dishes and in many other ways. Its sweetening power is slightly lower than sugar. The dates are fair trade and come from Rapunzel's HAND IN HAND partner in Tunisia.

Preparation
The dates are harvested, sorted, washed and heated with steam. Subsequently, the dates are dried, finely ground, filled into bags and packed.
