FAQ about Cashew kernels HAND IN HAND
Rapunzel cashews are cooked briefly in the shell at a maximum of 80° degrees. Since the shell is well insulated, the cashew nut itself doesn’t get hotter than 60°. Heating is necessary to inactivate the very pungent acids in the shell.
