New hero coffees for unique coffee enjoyment
Organic, fair & freshly roasted. From the Rapunzel coffee roastery in the Allgäu region.
Our hero coffee’s name comes from true heroes. This is because the coffee farmers ensure that biodiversity flourishes in the coffee-growing areas. Not only does coffee cultivation in mixed cultures and under shady trees ensure stable and species-rich ecosystems, the beans’ exceptional quality contributes to this as well.

The Rapunzel coffee roastery in the Allgäu region.
A single coffee bean contains about eight hundred aromas which are only revealed during roasting and thus unfold the individual coffee character.
For this, our coffee hero beans find their way to Allgäu, where they are roasted in the Rapunzel coffee roasting plant. Our experienced roasting masters pay attention to ensure the high quality of the green coffee beans and that the right roasting time and roasting temperature are found for each bean and origin.
Our beans are roasted in a gentle long-term process in a traditional drum roaster at low temperatures. This gives the coffee time to unfold its full aroma. And this is gentle not only on the beans but also on the environment, as the energy released in the roasting process is re-used through recirculation and heat recovery.
